At Florence Hearing Health Care, we believe in relationships over sales. We're here to help you find the best solutions for you and your communication partners so that you may lead your best life! To start, we'll take you through the steps of a hearing evaluation–in which we combine the power of medical technology (i.e. state of the art machines) with genuine human compassion to form a full picture of your needs before moving to the next step: recommending a treatment plan.

If you are experiencing hearing loss, we may recommend hearing devices. We know purchasing hearing devices is a significant investment and making the decision to buy them may seem intimidating. With nearly two decades of experience helping patients select the hearing technology that is best for them, the team answers all your questions (even the embarrassing ones) without biases, in order to get you fitted with the best product for your lifestyle.

Florence Hearing Health Care offers the following services:

  • Diagnostic Hearing Evaluations

  • Communication Needs Assessments

  • Hearing Loss Counseling and Communication Strategies

  • Hearing Aids and Assistive Technology (TV headsets, captioned telephones and amplified telephones)

  • Custom Hearing Protection (musician's earplugs, sleep plugs, and more)

  • Tinnitus Evaluation and Treatment

If you're not sure what you need, that's okay. Give us a call. We'll help you understand how to assess your situation and together we'll find a hearing solution that fits YOUR life.

We follow best practices; which means that all of the hearing devices that we fit are verified using real ear measurements. We use sophisticated equipment to measure exactly how the hearing devices are working while they are in the patient’s ears. This allows us to eliminate any guesswork about what our patients are hearing and allows us to ensure the devices are meeting prescriptive targets. This measurement takes time and the required equipment is expensive, but we know it is worthwhile because it leads to much better outcomes and patient satisfaction.

DID YOU KNOW? You're not alone; hearing loss affects about 20% of all Americans.

Improving your hearing is a journey

Accepting a loss in hearing can be difficult; it's frightening to admit that your basic human faculties aren't working like they're supposed to.

We can help you lose that weight off your shoulders by gaining back the nuances of your hearing you may have forgotten–like the ticking of a clock, the hiss of a hot radiator, of the purr of your faithful cat.

Please remember: it took years for you to get here, it will take time for your ears (and your brain) to recognize those old sounds and how to understand what they mean to you. Just like any other skill, you get rusty if you don't practice. When you suffer from hearing loss, you get rusty at interpreting everyday sounds.

So call us today. Let's find out what you're missing so we can help you get it back.
